Want to completely clean up your house in one go? The "7-Day Surrender Challenge" can help you! It only takes 10–15 minutes a day to do small tasks in designated areas, overcome clutter in sections, and finally develop long-term good habits. Get your alarm clock ready and embark on a refreshing new journey!
Day 1: Entrance and shoe cabinet

• Take out all shoes and bags and check for damage and usability;
• Keep the items you wear most often and love most, and donate the rest after cleaning;
• Install a simple shoe rack + hook to ensure that you can put it in place easily.
Day 2: Living room coffee table + sofa surroundings

• Clear the coffee table and put the remote control and magazines in the designated storage box;
• Sort through pillows and blankets and donate items that are not often used;
• Place a small tray or storage basket to make tidying up more convenient.
Day 3: Kitchen Countertop + Refrigerator

• Clear out expired ingredients and check seasonings;
• Place frequently used tableware in an easily accessible location and store other items in a cabinet;
• Place compartmentalized storage boxes in the refrigerator to classify fruits, vegetables, meat, and condiments.
Day 4: Bedroom bedside + wardrobe

• Tidy up the bedside: keep only one set of pillows and quilt covers for regular use, and keep the rest in a safe place;
• Bedside table: only put necessities such as table lamps and alarm clocks, and put other sundries in drawers;
• Wardrobe storage: Gather the clothes of the current season, put socks and underwear in separate storage boxes, and put the rest on the upper shelf or in storage boxes.
Day 5: Study/Work Area

• Document classification: separate the projects, bills, and receipts on hand and mark them clearly with folders;
• Clear your desk: keep only the frequently used stationery and computer, and put other items into storage boxes or drawers;
• Cable management: Use Velcro or cable clips to tie charging cables and keyboard cables to reduce tangles.
Day 6: Bathroom + Mirror Cabinet

• Expired cleaning: Throw away all expired cosmetics, skin care products, and cleaning agents;
• Storage basket placement: Place frequently used bathing products in a plastic storage basket and hang it on the wall or shelf;
• Keep towels in place: Use hooks or towel racks to keep them dry and free of moisture.
Day 7: Overall review + fine-tuning
• Review the results of the previous 6 days: walk around the house to see if there are any omissions or inaccuracies;
• Adjust circulation: If you find it difficult to access, move frequently used items to a more convenient location;
• Set up a maintenance plan: Add a reminder to yourself to do 10 minutes of “retrospection” every week;
• Professional Upgrade: If your home storage needs are more complex, or you want to create a more beautiful and functional space, you can make an appointment with Space Up for an on-site assessment and provide a one-stop storage + soft furnishing solution.
Just spend 10-15 minutes a day to sort out your space for 7 days, and you can effectively eliminate waste and optimize storage routes.
